It’s Fri-Yay!! And we’re gonna be doing some deadlifts and wall ball shots. Yes… I know you just did like a million WBS yesterday, but you’re gonna do a million more today!

Wednesday we will be doing Overhead Squats. These OHS will always test your mobility. You will find out real quick if your core is weak, shoulders, ankles, hips, or mid back are tight AF.

Get to the gym early. Make the time to roll out. Those foam rollers aren’t just to smack your buddy around. If you need help, ask a coach.

September is FREE FOR KIDS!

Hey everyone!

We are giving out a free month to all of our current members’s’s’s kids (ages elementary and middle school)! So grab your tax deduction– I mean kid… Grab your kid and bring them to the gym!

Our kids classes are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 5pm with Coach Brenna. The pregnant one.

Should kids exercise? – Tuesdays With The Coach

Should kids exercise? Should they be physically active? Yes? But whyyyy? They’re just kids…

THAT’S EXACTLY WHY!! The benefits and rewards a child receives for exercising are astounding! Other than going over a several reasons why children should exercise (not exercising children), we threw in some videos of Career Day at Palmer Laasko from last week where we had this really cool dude from the Texas Highway Patrol, SGT Mike Garza, throw down a few push ups with the kids. Don’t be that guy/girl that holds a child back from being physically active…because then you’ll probably be to blame for that kid having diabetes when they’re 20… Lead by example. If you’re a role model for any youngling…motivate them to start moving. You’ll be literally saving their life. It’s time to take back our health and be fit again, Brownsville!

Healthy eating means something a little different to everyone. So when your goal is to get your family “eating healthier” it may be really hard to figure out what that is.
